Help Fund Ellis’ Continuing Transition!

Transition is a Verb!

Thank you for visiting my fundraiser page!

My name is Ellis and I am a transexual man.  I came out in 2008 when I was a senior in high school through persistent effort and creative fundraising I managed to start HRT and have top surgery before age 22. I have come a long way since then and in the words of a former therapist, nowadays I look like the person I am supposed to be. The privilege of being comfortable in my own skin has come at a great financial cost. I am required to plan my life within access to doctors with experience with trans patients and afford medication and supplies that are life affirming and necessary for my sanity and survival. Transition is a verb and I am continually in need of transitional medicine and a community that understands this. It is hard for me to discuss my status and the needs I have as a trans person but now I am asking for your help!

To make a donation please send any funds to my PayPal* account:

or Venmo:

If you are located outside of the United States or do not have Paypal or Venmo, please get in touch if you would like to make a donation. We can make it happen!

I will be posting regular updates on this fundraiser and I hope to raise $2000 by the end of Summer 2017. If you are unable to give please share this page with your friends and family.

For more information about transitional medicine and trans men check out the Transgender Health Program,, or plan a trip to Philly Trans Health Conference.

Thank You!!

“They think I’m a girl! Hahahahaha!”

* I have decided to create a fundraiser on my own URL because I am confident in my community’s ability to raise funds without websites that make money off our need to seek monetary support.
